Jordanian Granted Green Card in 15 Months

Published: Jul 24, 2006 By: Robert D. Kolken Source: My Source
Robert D. Kolken, Esq., obtained lawful permanent resident status on behalf of a Jordanian citizen who had obtained his conditional status on the basis of a marriage to a United States citizen.  The couple separated one year after our client received his two year green card and the divorce was finalized 3 years thereafter.  We were able to prove that he had entered into the marriage in good faith and not for the sole purpose of obtaining immigration benefits. This application process, including interview and FBI checks, took approximately 15 months, due to the complexity of the situation.
