AAO citizenship victoryPublished: Apr 7, 2010 7:00 am
The AAO has favorably ruled in one of our cases relating to an Application for Certificate of Citizenship under Section 201 of the Nationality Act of 1940,8 U.S.C. § 601(g).
The AAO ruled that: "The preponderance of the evidence thus establishes that the applicant's father resided in the United States for 10 years prior to 1943, five of which were after 1915, as required for the applicant to acquire citizenship through his father under section 201 (g) of the Nationality Act of 1940."
