Removal proceedings terminated

Published: Nov 27, 2006 By: Eric W. Schultz Source: My Source
An Immigration Court terminated proceedings based on work by Eric W. Schultz, Esq., to obtain approval of a petition to waive the conditional basis of a client’s permanent resident status.  The client was placed into removal proceedings for having failed to file a petition on her own, as her marriage had ended.  Eric assisted her in filing a petition, with waiver of the need to file with her ex-husband, showing her good faith intentions for the marriage.  The petition was granted, and based on the approval the Immigration Judge terminated the removal proceedings, allowing the client to secure unconditional lawful permanent resident status in the U.S.
