Our client is a citizen of India. She has a pending application for lawful permanent resident status filed with USCIS. She has been accepted to attend medical school outside of the United States, requiring her immediate physical presence. We applied for Advance Parole on an expedited basis. The application was approved in only 17 days, enabling her to start classes in a timely fashion. Her adjustment of status application will remain pending. She is age protected under the Child Status Protection Act.
