Our client is a Canadian citizen with over 12 years of experience in the field of financial operations.  A United States financial solutions company that provides cost-effective finance and accounting services to numerous businesses across several industries desired our client’s services as a management consultant.  The company wished to hire our client to provide advice to its managers and employees on how to improve its financial operations and customer service.

Prior to the retention of our services, our client applied for Trade NAFTA status as a Management Consultant with the help of a different attorney.  Our client’s application was denied.  Our client then retained our services and we provided advice to him and the company about how to revise the offer of employment to comply with the requirements and limitations under the NAFTA for classification as a Management Consultant.

We advised our client and the company what documentation would be necessary to have an application approved.  We prepared and assembled a compelling application showing our client’s eligibility for Trade NAFTA status.  We prepared our client prior to his inspection at the port of entry and appeared with him in the event any issues arose.

Our client was approved without difficulty at the same port of entry at which his previous application was denied.
